General Carpentry, Sixth Edition is available now! General Carpentry, Sixth Edition represents a shift in the way that NCCER presents its Carpentry program. The Carpentry program will be changing from a four-level structure to two distinct career paths. After taking the introductory level, General Carpentry, trainees can choose to pursue a path of advanced building construction or concrete formwork. By completing both the construction and formwork training paths, NCCER’s sixth edition of Carpentry can be used to satisfy a four-year registered apprenticeship.
